6月初旬のある日、YGKではズーラシアへ遠足に行ってきました。梅雨が間近ということで、心配していた天候も崩れることなく良い日を過ごすことが出来ました。
皆でバスに乗り込み、ズーラシアへと出発！動物について勉強したばかりでしたので、より一層ワクワクする時間になりました。パピークラス（年少）のお友だちにとっては、これが初めての遠足です。目に入るもの、皆ですること全てにドキドキワクワクでしたが、中でも象さんの大きさには圧倒されました！キテンクラス（年中）のお友だちは、アフリカンサバンナエリアでたっぷりと時間をとっていろいろな動物たちを見ることが出来ました。特に、クラスで予習をしていたミーアキャットとチーターには目が釘付けになっていました。バードショーを見て、飼育員さんに「インタビュー」もさせていただきました。カブクラス（年長）は、パピーやキテンクラスの時に周らなかったエリアを重点的に見てきました。特にシロクマにはすっかり心を奪われました。
それぞれのクラスでお昼ごはんをいただいた後、公園で自由時間を持ちました。ズーラシアでの公園遊びはみんなが心待ちにしている活動の一つです。広い原っぱで走って遊んで楽しみました。
とても楽しい遠足でした。また来年、皆で一緒に行こうね。
In early June, we went on a field trip to Zoorasia. Because the rainy season is coming, we were all relieved that the weather was nice and cloudy.
We all got on a bus and headed to Zoorasia. Since we've just started to learn about animals this month, this event has become even more special for YGK students. Puppy students enjoyed their first experience of excursion. They were especially amazed to see the size of big elephants! Kitten students spent time watching animals in African Savannah area. They got so excited to see meerkats and cheetah that we've learned in the class. They also had a chance to see the Bird Show and “interviewed” zookeepers to learn more about their jobs. Cub students went to explore many animals that they had not seen when they were in Kitten and Puppy Class. They especially loved to see the polar bear!
After each class had lunch, we had free time in the playground. It was one of the students favorite routine and was so much fun running in huge grassy area.
All the students seemed to enjoy our field trip. Let's go together again next year!
