It was a beautiful sunny day and we enjoyed our trip to Negishi Park.
We looked at the horses and made sure we are quiet in front of the horses and ponies so that they don't get scared.
We played for a long time at the fields. Some students looked for treasures in nature bugs, sticks, leaves, flowers and crystal stones, and some found a stinkbug and made a bug hotel in the crevices of the roots of big tree. Other students slid down the hills while others played under a big pine tree.
Then we enjoyed our lunch together. After lunch, we did leaf dye on a white cloth using leaves and flowers which we pounded using stones. The children were very amazed that different leaves left different shades of green and the colors of flowers left a bright impression on the whites clothes.
It was a really beautiful day and we are glad that we enjoyed nature at spring time.
YGKスプリングスクール1日目です。
明るい春の日差しの下、根岸森林公園に出かけてきました。
公園に到着して、まずは馬を見に行きました。馬やポニーたちが驚かないように静かに見学しました。
その後、広々とした原っぱで、虫たちや小枝、葉っぱ、お花、きらきらした石で宝探しをしたり、カメムシを見つけて大きな木の根の割れ目に虫のホテルを作ったり、坂を滑ったり転げたり、大きな松の木の下で遊んだり。どの子も思い思いに心ゆくまで遊びました。
それから皆で一緒にお昼ごはんにしました。ごはんをいただいた後には、叩き染めをしました。葉っぱや花を白い布に挟み、その上から石で叩いてみました。異なる葉っぱは、様々な色合いの緑色になり、花ははっとするような美しい色を染め上げることに驚いていました。
春の自然をたっぷりと楽しんだ素敵な一日になりました。
