Mini Concert 今年度最初のミニコンサート

全日制英語幼児園・YMCA Global Kindergarten

At YMCA Global Kindergarten, an English kindergarten run by Yokohama YMCA, we have a music lesson twice a week.  Children love these music lessons. where they learn many songs both in Japanese and English.  Approximately once in every two months, we put together a mini-concert.

On Monday, May 25, we had the first concert for this school year.  This was totally a new experience for the freshman-Puppies (K1 students).  They gave a great performance in front of many parents even if it was a big challenge for them.

Of course, Kittens, (K2 students) and Cubs, (K3 students) put on a brilliant show, and in big voices, too! They sang many songs from the Operetta performance, coming up in July, which they are rehearsing for.  Wow, they were great!!  We can’t wait to see that performance!!

In June, we will have the flower festival, an excursion, class visits, parent’s day and more.  Let’s have another fun-filled month!!

　全日制英語幼児園・YMCA Global Kindergarten (YGK) では、週２回、音楽の時間があります。皆が大好きな音楽の時間ですが、主に英語や日本語の歌を習っています。概ね二ヶ月に一度のペースで、ご家庭の皆様にレッスンの様子をお目にかける機会といたしましてミニコンサート（おさらい発表会）を行っています。

　今年度初めてのミニコンサートが５月２５日（月）に教室にて行われました。４月に入園してきたパピークラス（年少）の皆にとっては、初めての舞台となりましたが、たくさんの保護者の皆様が見守る中、かわいい歌声を披露してくれました。

　キテンクラス（年中）、カブクラス（年長）の皆はさすがに堂々とした姿で、大きな声で練習の成果を見せてくれました。７月にオペレッタ（英語音楽劇）を控えているため、音楽の時間にはオペレッタの曲を主に練習していますが、その中からたくさんの曲を聞かせてくれました。本番の舞台も楽しみです。

　６月には、花の日や遠足、授業参観、保育参加等、行事が盛りだくさんです。今の調子で元気に行きましょう！
