At YMCA Global Kindergarten, we would like to offer the best things grownups can do for the children. This also means we strive to collaborate with families to promote optimal learning for young children even outside the school.
Because of COVID-19 situation, we are asking parents to keep their child home. And we truly appreciate them for cooperating with us in this tough time. But we do not want to leave the families behind so overwhelmed. That is why, we are offering parents some fun activities and practical tips on how to keep their child engaged in active learning at home. In addition to that, we provide them educational contents using videos and an online meeting system.
Moving to virtual classroom was not a piece of cake for educators, families especially to young children. But we are truly thankful for everyone’ patience, understanding and perseverance. We do hope the situation settles soon so that everyone can come back to school. But for now we will stay connected and be resilient!

現在、私たちは新型コロナ感染症により出来る限りの登園自粛をお願いさせていただいております。この大変な状況の中で支えてくださる保護者の皆様に、教職員一同、心より感謝しております。ですが、もちろん、このような時だからこそ保護者の皆様のご負担を少しでも軽くできるように、またご家庭でも私たちが目指すアクティブラーニングを継続していただけるように、毎日楽しいアクティビティや役に立てていただける内容をオンラインにて提供しております。
オンラインでのクラスは教職員にとっても、保護者の皆様にとっても、そして何より子どもたちにとって、初めての経験であり、挑戦です。まだまだ至らないことが多い中、支え、助けてくださっている保護者の皆様に心一杯の感謝をお伝えしたいです。一日も早くこの状況が落ち着き、また皆の笑顔があふれる時を今か今かと心待ちにする日々です。その日のためにも、今は共に耐えて、困難を乗り越えましょう。
今日も皆さんが元気に笑顔で過ごせますように！
