YGK Culture Day ＹＧＫ文化紹介

YMCA Global Kindergarten・活動報告
One of the YGK teachers gave a presentation about her country, Indonesia, as part of our theme this month which revolves around cultures around the world. 

It was an exciting presentation, especially for those who heard about Indonesia for the first time. They learned about the map of the country, the capital city, its currency, and the flag, several examples of Indonesian food, traditional dance and traditional clothes.  The students were amazed by the beauty and culture of this largest archipelagic state in the world!
Hopefully, this will inspire the students as well as the teachers to appreciate their very own culture and diversity!

ＹＭＣＡの全日制英語幼児園 YMCA Global Kindergarten (YGK) では、２月のテーマとして世界の様々な文化をテーマに学んでいます。学びの一環として、ＹＧＫ教員によるインドネシア紹介が行われました。
インドネシアという国について初めて知った子ども達にとって、わくわくするような学びの時になりました。インドネシアの地理、首都、通貨、国旗、伝統的な食べ物や踊り、衣類について教えてもらいました。世界有数の島国であるこの国の美と文化に魅了された時間でした。
自分たちの文化や多様性について改めて感謝するきっかけとなれば良いですね。
