On May 17, 2017, the Kitten class of YMCA
Global Kindergarten had their very first outing to Negishi Forest Park. It was a nice and cool day.
Although they had several chances to go out
using a tourist bus when they were in the Puppy class, they have never
experienced going out using a public transportation.
After a short guidance on the manners in public
places, including public transportation, by the class teachers, they left for
the park.
The bus ride to the park was about 20
minutes. They had to stay quiet in the
bus as there were many other passengers.
The kittens could follow the public manners surprisingly well. They stayed quiet and calm for the whole 20
minute ride. Good job, Kittens!
They all enjoyed their lunch time as it is
always so special to have an outdoor lunch, spreading out tarps, sitting side
by side with friends.
After having a great day in the park, they
went back to YGK by bus. Their first
outing was a big success!
パピークラスでは、貸し切りバスを使っての遠足に出かけたことがありましたが、公共の乗り物でのお出かけはこれが初めての経験です。
公共の乗り物の使い方等、公共の場でのマナーについて先生からお話をしてもらって、公園に出発しました。
公園まではバスで約２０分です。バスの中には、他のお客さんも多く乗車されています。ですから、バスの中では静かに過ごします。キテンクラスの皆は、驚くほど上手にマナーを守って乗車することが出来ました。
公園では、「春を探そうビンゴ」等のアクティビティーを楽しみました。春の花や、生き物を探して遊びました。小さな赤いヘビイチゴも見つけました。
外で食べるごはんは、どんな時もとても特別でわくわくするものです。ピクニックシートを広げて、お友達と並んで腰かけて、おいしいお弁当を楽しみました。
