At YMCA Global Kindergarten (YGK), an English kindergarten run by Yokohama YMCA, the Puppy class (K1) had the very first park time today.
At YMCA Global Kindergarten (YGK), an English kindergarten run by Yokohama YMCA, the Puppy class (K1) had the very first park time today.
From April, they have been learning about
the safety rules and safety manners, like lining up, following teachers’
instructions, gather when called, etc. Finally,
they could have their very first day to go play in the park. They had so much fun playing in a small
climber, on a rocking horse and running around on the play area. Although it was their first experience, they
could follow the rules well. It surely
was a big step for them.
We had another exciting event today, the
first mini concert of the school year.
All the classes have been practicing some songs for this day. Many parents came to see their children on
the stage. As for the Puppy class (K1),
this was the first experience to perform in front of many people but the
Puppies were so brave and determined to show what they have practiced. Of course, the Kitten class (K2) and the Cub
class (K3) were great, too. We enjoyed
their angelic voice.
We would like to say thank you to parents
to manage your precious time for the children, and to our beloved music teacher
to teach them the fun of music.
ＹＭＣＡの全日制英語幼児園・ＹＭＣＡグローバルキンダーガーテン（ＹＧＫ）では、パピークラス（年少）が初めての公園遊びに出かけました。
４月からパピークラスでは、きちんと並んだり、先生の指示に従ったり、呼ばれたら集まったりということを学んできました。小さな遊具やロッキングホースで遊んだり、公園の中を駆け回ったりと思う存分遊んできました。初めての経験でしたが、しっかりとルールを守って過ごすことが出来ました。皆にとって大きな一歩となりました。
そして、もう一つわくわくするイベントがありました。今日のためにどのクラスも熱心に歌の練習を重ねてきました。たくさんのご家族の皆様がお子さんの姿を見るために足を運んでくださいました。パピークラス（年少）にとっては、こんなに多くの人たちの前で発表をすることは初めての体験となりました。でも、皆とても堂々と歌いきることが出来ました。もちろん、キテンクラス（年中）、カブクラス（年長）の皆も素晴らしい歌声を届けてくれました。
保護者の皆様にはご来場いただきましてありがとうございました。そして、音楽の楽しさをいつも教えてくださる音楽の先生、ありがとうございます。
