YGK Kids' Operetta

YMCA Global Kindergarten・活動報告

YMCA Global Kindergarten (YGK) had an annual operetta on Friday, July 21.

They have practiced the songs and the lines for this day.

The first performance was “The Carnival of the Animals” performed by the Puppy class.  This was their very first show where they perform by themselves.  They dressed as cute animals who came to celebrate the Princess Lion’s birthday and showed adorable dances.  They were awesome!

The second performance was “The Golden Goose” performed by the Kitten class.  The Kitten children carried on with their performance despite a minor accident. It must have been hard for them to continue but it was great to see how they persisted.

The Cub class was the last to perform.  The show was “The Wizard of Oz”.  Each child was poised and confident to perform their own role.  We could see their growth in many ways.

Summer school starts from this week.  We are now preparing for the upcoming YGK Summer Festival which will be held this Saturday, July 29 from 10:00 am.  Everyone is welcome to join!  We look forward to seeing you at the festival!

全日制英語幼児園・ＹＭＣＡグローバルキンダーガーテンでは、７月２１日（金）に毎年恒例のオペレッタを行いました。

最初の演目はパピークラス園児による「動物たちの謝肉祭」です。プリンセスライオンの誕生日にいろいろな動物たちがお祝いにやってきました。園児たちは、それぞれの動物に扮して、可愛らしいダンスを披露してくれました。

次に、キテンクラスの園児たちが「黄金のガチョウ」を演じました。途中、小さなアクシデントがありましたが、ハプニングを乗り越えて、最後まで見事に演じ切ったキテンの園児たちに心からの拍手を送りたいと思います。

最後に、カブクラスの園児たちが「オズの魔法使い」を見せてくれました。皆とても落ち着いて、堂々と演じていました。皆の成長を感じる演技でした。

さて、今週からサマースクールが始まりました。今週の土曜日の午前１０時から行われるＹＧＫ夏祭りの準備を進めています。どなたでもご参加いただけますので、是非お気軽に遊びにお越しください。皆様にお会いできますことを楽しみにしています。
